Working in partnership with the wider athletics family to create a vibrant, safe and progressive sport - embracing athletes of all abilities and from all communities - to grow the next generation of athletics champions.
England Athletics Strategic Priorities
- Building a nationwide network of highly motivated coaches at all levels, skilled in their specialist events, in best-practice coaching techniques, and providing development opportunities for individuals to achieve their aspirations and potential.
- Supporting affiliated clubs and associations to access the expertise, facilities and welcoming environments that will develop every athlete, coach, official and volunteer to their full potential.
- Working with competition providers to deliver an integrated nationwide calendar of events that enables all athletes to challenge themselves at an appropriate level.
- Providing development opportunities for the most talented athletes to compete on the international stage and work towards England and Aviva GB&NI representation and the UK Athletics world-class programme.
